While Brock Purdy, George Kittle, and Christian McCaffrey are all good to go despite dealing with injury scares at one point this season, both Trent Williams and Ricky Pearsall are a different story.
As Underdog NFL shared, both Persall and Williams have the same designation for the Eagles’ playoff game. The 49ers’ key offensive tackle and number 2 wide receiver are both questionable for the Wild Card round.

The 49ers got some good news in that neither Pearsall nor Williams was ruled out. They still could miss this game, but for now, they both have a chance to suit up.
While Williams might be the bigger priority to return for the 49ers, Pearsall being good to go would be very significant news.

Jauan Jennings has been great this season, but with Brandon Aiyuk done for the year, the 49ers’ wide receiver room after Jennings and Pearsall is limited.
Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson aren’t terrible depth options, but asking them to be the team’s number 2 wide receiver against the Eagles’ pass defense is a tall task.

Pearsall coming back would be huge, as would Williams. More will be known Saturday for any roster call-ups, and on gameday when inactives are announced. For now, both are questionable for the Eagles wild card matchup.
