Game Summary:
NC State started the game well for the first time lately. By the first official timeout the lead was 13-5 Wolfpack. Despite a decided height advantage, the rebounds were tied at 16 at the half. Stats were generally even; the Pack won the first half with quality shooting 50%/40%/82%. Williams had a great half with 12 / 3 /1.

The second half started a little rough, but Williams settled things down and by the first official timeout he had 18/4/2 and the Pack was up 49-41. Syracuse cut the lead to five a couple of times but by halfway through the half, the Wolfpack had the game under control and the Orange never seriously threaten with the Pack pushing the lead to as much as 21. Syracuse missed a couple of consecutive “free chicken” free throws late in the game, and everyone went home happy. The home losing streak has ended.
