When I got married recently, one of the gifts I was most excited to add to my small appliance lineup was a high-powered blender. I even gave away my portable blenders to declutter. But a few months later, I’ve come to accept the truth: I just don’t want to be without a small-scale, cordless option.
So I invited one back into my kitchen — GreenPan’s brand-new version — and it’s quickly become a go-to. Sure, it’s nice to look at, but it also checks all the boxes in terms of quality and functionality.
What You Should Know About GreenPan’s Spin & Go Portable Blender
It’s got everything I could want: Its display has four preset programs (crush, smoothie, blend, and clean) as well as a pulse button. It can be used wirelessly up to 15 times, only needing to charge for about an hour once it’s out of juice. Plus, the included 24-ounce cup and lid are dishwasher-safe.
The $200 blender is currently on sale for $139 and available in four trendy colors: silver, cream, navy, and aqua.
My Honest Review of GreenPan’s Spin & Go Portable Blender
The first thing that drew me to this portable blender is the gorgeous color selection. I went with the cool aqua color, which makes me happy every time I use it. The blender itself is really good, too.
I immediately wanted to see how it performed at crushing ice (my marker for how strong a blender is). I made a blueberry smoothie featuring both frozen blueberries and ice cubes, and it came out even better than ones I made with a certain high-powered blender I’ve previously tested. It was totally smooth; no chunky bits of ice in sight.
I followed it up with a peanut butter and banana smoothie using frozen banana, and that, too, came out nice and smooth. The chia seeds didn’t blend perfectly, but I didn’t mind the texture.
Another cool thing about this gadget? It doesn’t wobble while it’s blending, an issue I’ve had with other blenders. I love this because I can put ingredients away and clean up while it blends my smoothie, instead of having to hold it in place. It’s also not earsplittingly loud when it’s blending, so I can think and blend at the same time.
I’m so thrilled to have a portable blender back in my life, and the Spin & Go from GreenPan is truly one of the best blenders I’ve ever used — portable or otherwise.
