Nebraska offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen is excited about the team’s quarterback depth heading into 2026. The Huskers will have a new starting quarterback after two-year starter Dylan Raiola transferred to the Oregon Ducks.
Nebraska was active in the portal, adding former UNLV quarterback and Mountain West Player of the Year Anthony Colandrea. The St. Petersburg, Florida, native finished the 2025 season throwing for 3,459 yards, 23 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also ran for 649 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Holgorsen made it clear last week to the press that the quarterback room’s attitude is completely different heading into spring practice.
“It’s a completely different room, but it’s a confident room too. It all starts with Anthony. He’s got three years of starting experience under his belt. That’s going to show.”
After a one-year hiatus, the Red/White Spring Game will return. The 2026 Nebraska spring game will be played on Saturday, March 28 at 11 a.m. CT at Memorial Stadium.
