On a recent episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Ryan Gosling was asked if there’s been any movement on him getting cast as the MCU’s Ghost Rider, to which he responded, “Some discussions have been had. It’s a complicated situation.”
Bad Hand
Deadline reports Chloe Okuno (Watcher, Brides) is attached to direct Bad Hand, a horror movie at Searchlight Pictures from the writer of the second Black Christmas remake, April Wolfe. The story concerns “a mild-mannered kindergarten teacher who the week before her wedding, is the victim of a hit and run. In the wake of the accident, she discovers to her horror that the trauma has caused her right hand to act with a mind of its own, bent on bloody revenge.”

A boarding school is likely a witches’ coven in the trailer for Saturnalia, an homage to Dario Argento’s Suspiria boasting an original score from Goblin’s own Claudio Simonetti.
Firefly: The Animated Series
Speaking with Deadline, Nathan Fillion confirmed the role of Shepherd Book will be recast for the Firefly animated series following the passing of original actor, Ron Glass.
Absolutely, that’s the plan. Yeah, we’re bringing back Shepherd Book for certain. Ron Glass, unfortunately, is not available. Ron once joked that he didn’t get a part when they were looking for a Ron Glass-type, and here we are again. We’re looking for a Ron Glass-type, and it’s not going to be Ron Glass.
The Terror: Devil In Silver
Bloody-Disgusting reports The Terror: Devil in Silver will premiere on AMC this May 7. Starring Dan Stevens, the series’ concerns Pepper, “a working-class moving man who, through a combination of bad luck and a bad temper, finds himself wrongfully committed to New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital—an institution filled with those society would rather forget. There, he must contend with patients working against him, doctors harboring grim secrets, and perhaps even the Devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face the entity which thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls—but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.”
