The Devil Wears Prada 2 press tour is picking up ahead of the movie’s May release date. Over the course of its filming last year, we saw Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, and a host of new characters papped on set, in action and in costume. What makes a modern day Miranda Priestly wardrobe? Beyond filming, Meryl Streep is continuing to feel it out.
Streep stepped out on route to an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, wearing an oversized leopard print pussybow blouse-coat with billowing sleeves, black cigarette jeans, and black pointed slingback pumps. For accessories, she opted for sleek cateye sunglasses, gold hoops, and the top-handle Hudson bag from DeMellier.

In the original film, Miranda had a particular affinity for big brand bags that were tightly structured, including the Prada Spazzolato, the velvet Fendi Magic, a Chanel alligator flap, and a series of Hermés styles including a mini Kelly.
On the set of Devil Wears Prada 2, costume designer Molly Rogers selected staple and unreleased handbags for the cast. Hathaway as Andy Sachs toted the studded Valentino Garavani Panthea bag from the fall 2025 runway, the silver pelleted Nano bag by Rabanne, and a Fendi basket. Streep as Runway EIC Priestly wore a (then-unreleased) Celine Flat Cabas Luggage bag and violet clutch by Pinel et Pinel.
