With every passing year—and each new season of Emily in Paris—Lily Collins reminds us that she and her character could actually not be more different. While the outré Emily Cooper never met a pattern she didn’t like, Collins’s own tastes lean more grounded and earthy.
She issued another friendly reminder today with her low-key mom-off-duty style. For a stroll through London with her husband, Charlie McDowell, Collins opted for a distressed leather jacket from Acne Studios, popping the collar to add an extra touch of easy cool, with an olive green knit turtleneck underneath. While her breezy bottom half—a pair of off-white cargo pants and taupe Adidas Spezial sneakers—added a welcome bit of contrast, a quilted black Chanel 25 bag was the perfectly polished finishing touch.
This isn’t the first time Collins has rocked the gender-neutral outfit and feminine It-bag combo. Last August, while filming Emily in Paris’s fifth season in Italy, the actor opted for a gray drawstring chore coat from Uniqlo, a khaki button-up, black joggers, and her handy Adidas Spezials, which she offset with an outsized Balenciaga City bag.
