I have a busy schedule that often affects how much time I have available to cook, so I rely on quick recipes, meal prep, and efficient kitchen tools to get the job done. One appliance that quickly became one of my trusty kitchen companions was the viral Ninja CRISPi. It was easy to use and made it possible to keep track of my food in real time, thanks to its glass container that also doubled as food storage. I loved it so much that the only thing that could replace it was its upgrade: the Ninja CRISPi Pro.
Ninja CRISPi Pro Features That Stand Out
If you’ve had a look at the portable Ninja CRISPi, the differences between it and the Ninja CRISPi Pro are immediately clear. Rather than a lift-off heat source, the CRISPi Pro’s is integrated with the stand, so you can focus solely on loading and reloading the glass containers. It comes with a modular base that fits into grooves at the back of the stand so the 2.5-quart and 4-quart (must be purchased separately) containers can be raised to the top. For the 6-quart container, the modular piece is simply set at the base of the stand.
Along with buttons for temperature, time, power, and a light dimming feature, the Ninja CRISPi Pro has a single knob that’s used to set the time, temperature, and cooking mode — Air Fry, MaxCrisp, Recrisp, Roast, Bake/Proof, or Dehydrate. The CRISPi Pro reaches up to 450°F and is equipped to cook everything from a whole roast chicken and sides to frozen snacks. Once the food is prepared, it can be served directly from the glass container, due to raised feet on the base. Plus, the containers come with lids so you can also store any leftover food in them.
How the Ninja CRISPi Pro Performed
I’ve been using the Ninja CRISPi Pro since its launch in October 2025, and it has become a kitchen essential. When I cook during the week, it’s often simple dishes with a mostly hands-off approach, which means chicken, fish, veggies, and/or frozen foods are usually going into the air fryer. It’s so low-maintenance that I can start air-frying before I wrap up my tasks so that dinner is ready by the time I’m free for the evening — and who doesn’t love a delicious hot meal after a long day?
The Ninja CRISPi Pro is incredibly easy to use, and I like that I can set an exact temperature whether I’m recrisping leftovers or air-frying an entrée from square one. It looks sleek on my kitchen counter, so it’s also one of the few appliances I keep out in the open instead of shelving between uses. The modular base is ingenious; it’s my favorite feature (aside from the temperature settings) and makes the CRISPi Pro stand out from the portable Ninja CRISPi. With it, I can effortlessly load in the 2.5-quart container that I use for everything from party wings to frozen corn dogs to crispy potato wedges.
Good to Know: Should You Buy the Ninja CRISPi or the Ninja CRISPi Pro?
If you’ve been searching for a new air fryer, I’d recommend the Ninja CRISPi Pro to anyone who’s looking for a powerful appliance that does the following:
Despite the portable origins of the Ninja CRISPi collection, the Ninja CRISPi Pro is not meant to be an air fryer that you take from place to place. If you’re looking for a countertop appliance that you can pick up and take with you to prepare food elsewhere, the OG Ninja CRISPi is the way to go.
