They do sound good in open mode. When they’re not covering your ear canals, the Aerofit 2 Pro rank among the best open earbuds in their price class, with an airy sound signature that naturally focuses on the upper registers. While no open earbuds I’ve tried accentuate bass as well as regular buds, the Aerofit 2 Pro have more resonance down low than most, accompanied by splashes of keen instrumental detail and clear stereo separation.Wandering NoisePhotograph: Ryan WaniataThe biggest issue I have with these “best of both worlds” earbuds is noise cancellation that’s not only limited but also unstable and…

For many, the best body mists served as an early introduction to fragrance; though, that doesn’t mean these airy scents should be filed away as a relic of teenage nostalgia. “Body mists have matured alongside its customers,” Chriselle Lim, creative director of Phlur tells Vogue. “What we’re seeing now isn’t a return to teenage fragrance, but refinement for an elevated audience. Body mists naturally align with how modern consumers want fragrance to integrate into their routines: layered, expressive, and less prescriptive.” Lim would know firsthand, of course, given Phlur’s undisputed popularity; the brand who, arguably, put the body mist back on…
One could be forgiven for thinking that automation tools would make arduous tasks redundant, and make work more relaxing overall. But this elides an important law of the universe: the ratchet of productivity only turns one way. That is, it’s a modern day truism that if automation—AI or otherwise—makes any sort of positive change in your work life, you’ll feel a sort of squeezing sensation, and additional work will materialize to erase any momentary feelings of relief. According to a case study highlighted in some “in-progress research” from Aruna Ranganathan, who teaches management at UC-Berkeley and Xingqi Maggie Ye, a…
PALM BEACH GARDENS – Neal Shipley showed Monday night experience isn’t required in the TGL.Playing in his maiden match, Shipley made the first hole-in-one in TGL history, hitting a 54-degree sand wedge from 110 yards on the fifth hole — the shortest hole in league history — aptly named Straight Up.AdvertisementThe celebration lasted longer than the shot, with teammates Min Woo Lee and Luke Clanton jumping on Shipley’s broad shoulders after he tossed his wedge in the air at SoFi Center“I aimed it a little right, and I tugged it a little. I went a little bananas. So cool,” said…
Social network Bluesky is finally rolling out one of users’ most-requested features: drafts. Bluesky’s competitors, X and Threads, have long supported the ability to write drafts, which is seen as a baseline feature for services like this. Users can access drafts on Bluesky the same way they do on these other platforms, which is by opening the new post flow and selecting the Drafts button in the top-right corner. The rollout of drafts comes as Bluesky recently teased its roadmap for the year ahead. The company said it plans to focus on improving the app’s algorithmic Discover feed, offering better recommendations…
Users on ChatGPT’s free and Go plans in the US may now start to see ads as OpenAI has started testing them in the chatbot. The company announced plans to bring ads to ChatGPT. At the time, the company said it would display sponsored products and services that are relevant to the current conversations of logged-in users, though they can disable personalization and “clear the data used for ads” whenever they wish.“Our goal is for ads to support broader access to more powerful ChatGPT features while maintaining the trust people place in ChatGPT for important and personal tasks,” OpenAI wrote…
In a potential landmark ruling for the future of college sports, a judge denied Alabama basketball player Charles Bediako’s motion seeking a preliminary injunction against NCAA eligibility rules, according to court documents obtained by AL.com. Bediako, who returned to the Crimson Tide after signing an NBA contract and playing in the G League, will no longer be permitted to play college basketball under NCAA bylaws.Bediako became the first former pro to return to college when he received a temporary restraining order against the NCAA in January. That order prohibited the NCAA from enforcing its eligibility rules on the 7-footer and…
