When I reviewed the GR III, I wrote about how much I liked snap focus mode, which allows you to set a predetermined focus distance regardless of the aperture. I set up my GR III to use autofocus when I half-pressed the shutter and snap when I quickly pressed, so that snap focus fired off the shot at my predetermined focus distance (usually 1.5 meters). All that remains, but there is also now a dedicated letter, Sn, on the mode dial that sets the camera in Snap Focus mode, which allows you to dial in not only the distance you want…

I’m a sucker for a good travel rewards card. Over the years, I’ve collected a small handful of them — not because I love juggling annual fees, but because the right cards can save you a lot of money on flights, hotels, and travel perks you’d otherwise pay out of pocket for. Not only do I have a bunch for my personal expenses but I have a couple for this business too. One of my favorite business credit cards is the Capital One Venture X Business Credit Card. It’s Capital One’s top-tier business product. I love it because there’s a…

You tell your wife, “I love you” every day—but does it still carry the same spark, the same depth as when you first said it? Whttingham, 66, stepped down in December after 21 seasons leading the Utes, and he left the door open to continuing his legendary coaching career elsewhere. He’ll do just that under a five-year deal through the 2030 season with the Wolverines. CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz first reported Whittingham’s impending hire on Friday. Utah offensive coordinator Jason Beck is expected to follow Whittingham to Michigan to assume the same position, while BYU defensive coordinator Jay Hill is expected to be one of…
Each year, we ask some top investors what they think the next year will bring. Last year, some investors thought the IPO market would be back up and running by now (which didn’t quite happen), while others thought the momentum behind AI was poised to accelerate (and they were right). This year, TechCrunch did the same thing, talking to five investors from various markets about what they are preparing for in 2026. Here is what they said. What will it take for a founder to raise next year, compared to last year? James Norman, Managing Partner, Black Ops VC Raising in 2025 requires a shift…
When Alexandra O’Neill, the founder and designer behind the NYC-based fashion line Markarian (she dressed former First Lady Jill Biden for her husband’s inauguration in 2021, among other accomplishments), picks up her video call, she’s coming live from South Africa—and tells me that a hyena just ran by. “We’re sitting at the lodge right now, and they have a really beautiful watering hole right here that all the animals come to,” she says, promising she’ll alert me to any more wildlife sightings.O’Neill’s partner lives in South Africa, so she visits the country often, but that doesn’t mean she’s become immune…
