Naturally, Lunay had some of his own statement fashions for the show—all courtesy of Chavarria, naturally. “I wore two looks during the performance,” he says. “The first was an iconic white PJ set with stripes, paired with the signature Willy briefs underneath and Willy slides—it felt bold, playful, and very on-brand.” After performing his bicep curls in the set, he changed into his look for the catwalk set, an all-black suiting look. “What I loved most about both looks was the comfort,” says Lunay. “They were loose-fitting and allowed me to move freely, so I could stay present and fully focused on giving my best on stage. Together, the looks felt modern, confident, and undeniably Willy.”
These days, the star says he gravitates towards clothes that feel youthful but classic—so wearing such pieces were not a far stretch from his day-to-day style. “I gravitate toward clean silhouettes, strong fits, and pieces that feel elevated without trying too hard,” he says. “When it’s time for a red carpet or a moment like Paris, I definitely polish it up, but I never step away from who I am. It’s still my personal style, just taken to the next level.”
Soon enough, Lunay will definitely be leveling-up his stardom. Just yesterday, he also released his first single “Ojalá”—his first in over a year—and performed it during the show. “It is the beginning of a new chapter for me,” says Lunay. “It’s emotionally raw, but still modern and rhythmic, and it captures that feeling of being completely in love and wanting to hold onto it.”
The singer says that you can expect this new mood from his new forthcoming music. “After taking time to grow creatively and evolve my sound, I’m coming back with more clarity and intention,” he adds. ”This is a more mature version of me, one who wants to explore in every facet of my life, not just musically. What’s next is more music, more visuals, and continuing to expand the world I’m building in this new era.”
