After the marathon that is awards season finally came to an end at the 2026 Oscars, the hosts of The Run-Through did what they’ve done the last few years, and gathered with colleagues Taylor Antrim and Christian Allaire to discuss their takes.
The conversation began with everyone’s favorite looks of the night. Chioma’s included Sinners star Wunmi Mosaku’s emerald green Louis Vuitton dress: “I think it’s so difficult to dress when you’re expecting, ’cause your body is changing so rapidly,” Chioma observed. “So shout-out to all the tailors who’ve had to readjust these dresses!”
Renate Reinsve (in more Louis Vuitton) and Gwyneth Paltrow (in Armani Privé) were also on the group’s best-dressed list, their looks both featuring dramatic slits. But that wasn’t the only trend on the carpet last night; the likes of Teyana Taylor, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, and best supporting actress winner Amy Madigan went all-in on feathered frocks. Moreover, a conversation about the many rare jewels on display at the Dolby Theatre led the group to consider the guards who work the Oscars, making sure that priceless pieces survive the night unscathed (and unstolen).
As for the results of the best-actor and best-actress races, everyone was in agreement that Michael B. Jordan and recent podcast guest Jessie Buckley were both chic and deserving winners. Up next… Met Gala season!
