For the first time in Olympic history, a single country has won all three hockey tournaments. Team USA secured the unprecedented sweep with a victory in Paralympic sled hockey. ESPN’s Pat McAfee celebrated the 6–2 Team USA win.
McAfee posted a viral video highlighting the moment and noted that no other Olympic nation has ever completed the hockey “triple crown.” Team USA made the 2026 Games a historic one.
Just weeks earlier, the U.S. men’s hockey team captured its first Olympic gold medal since the “Miracle on Ice” in 1980. The women’s team also ended a long drought, winning its first gold since 2018.

McAfee, a former NFL star and current ESPN analyst, has been a vocal supporter of Team USA. He even picked up the tab for the hockey team’s celebration.

Notably, McAfee also posted a fired-up “Gold Medal Dream” video ahead of the men’s gold medal final. The video went viral after Team USA’s historic win over Team Canada.
