ORLANDO — The Arnold Palmer Invitational was delayed for more than an hour when a strong cell blew threw the area bringing heavy rain.
Several greens had standing water when the 35 golfers remaining on the course were brought in at 2:53 p.m. Play was expected to resume at 4 p.m.

Leader Daniel Berger was on the fifth hole when play was halted. Berger, the Jupiter resident, was at 13-under and had a six shot lead over a group of five golfers at -7. Berger started the day with a five shot lead. Sepp Straka was among those trying to chase Berger, moving into second after making birdie on four of his first seven holes.

Akshay Bhatia, Chris Gotterup, Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala also were at 7-under.
Rain is expected through the day with the chances diminishing throughout the day.
