My top 10 things to watch Friday, April 24 1. Stocks are headed for a higher open. Oil prices and bond yields are down. A report from Reuters fueled hopes that peace talks between the United States and Iran would take place soon. President Donald Trump said yesterday that Israel and Lebanon agreed to extend their ceasefire. Tech stocks are soaring on last night’s incredible earnings report from Intel. 2. Intel shares are rocketing 25% higher this morning. The once down-and-out chipmaker continues to fire on all cylinders under Lip Bu Tan, who has only been CEO for 13 months. Intel did next year’s number now. As I posted on X this morning, Intel stock can still be bought here; so can Advanced Micro Devices and our newest position, Arm , which has been a freight train this year. 3. Arm is benefiting from Meta Platforms ‘ latest compute agreement. The Facebook and Instagram company cut a multiyear deal for thousands of Graviton chips from Amazon Web Services. Yep, you guessed it: Gravitons are Arm-based central processing units. CPUs are all the rage lately to manage agentic AI. Meta and Amazon are also Club names. 4. Procter & Gamble reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings and revenue. Volume grew for the first time in a year. On organic growth, beauty was the star with a big beat. Grooming missed. The Club stock jumped more than 3% on the print. 5. Barclays cut its Honeywell price target to $243 from $255 following yesterday’s earnings. Analysts said that the aerospace unit “has some work to do to win over the investment community.” Boy, do people dislike this company. We saw the quarter as disappointing but a sign that the industrial conglomerate will deliver on its breakup plans. 6. Dover ‘s PT was taken up to $230 from $206 over at Barclays. Analysts pointed to the company’s strong first-quarter results yesterday and described 2026 earnings guidance as “quite conservative.” Ahead of the release, I was on the fence about whether it made sense to still own this industrial. This quarter dispelled those concerns. Dover is a great company for the Club. 7. Jefferies raised its GE Vernova price target to $1,350 from $965. Analysts said estimates are “still too low,” given the acceleration in gas and electrification orders. Earlier this week, we lifted our Club PT to $1,300 after a monster quarter . Best in show for the portfolio. 8. Caterpillar got a big price target hike at Wells Fargo to $960 from $870. Analysts cited power and energy as they relate to the AI data center boom. It’s time to start looking closer at the energy side of the heavy equipment giant. Shares of Caterpillar have soared 45% year to date. 9. JPMorgan raised its price target on portfolio holding Starbucks to $100 from $95. Analysts adjusted targets ahead of earnings for the restaurants and foodservice distribution group. Cava , Restaurant Brands (Burger King and Tim Hortons), and Shake Shack also saw price target bumps. 10. Wedbush started coverage of Oracle as a buy. Analysts said the company was on track to become a “foundational infrastructure provider for the AI revolution.” Still, it’s been a tough 2026 for the stock. Wedbush said the market’s just “fundamentally misinterpreting” Oracle’s “aggressive, contract-backed investment cycle as speculative risk.” Sign up for my Top 10 Morning Thoughts on the Market email newsletter for free (See here for a full list of the stocks at Jim Cramer’s Charitable Trust.)
